Posterscope USA launches first US out-of-home consumer insight study

Posterscope USA is the first US communication specialist to conduct a dedicated out-of-home consumer insight research survey (OCS). The survey looks at the out-of-home landscape through the point of view of the consumer to gain insight into how people behave in this environment.

Insight from OCS helps to develop an out-of-home planning and buying approach that connects clients with consumers in the right place, at the right time, and with content and advertising messages that they will notice.

The OCS questionnaire polled a cross section of adult Americans aged 15-64. Its aim was to profile specific target audiences in terms of media consumption, attitudes toward advertising and receptiveness to marketing messages.  These findings can then be compared across all media (mobile, out-of-home, newspapers and magazines, cinema, radio, tv and the internet), as well as compared to the value of particular venues and platforms within out-of-home for any target consumer group. 

The study sets Posterscope ahead of its competitors in the region, and furthers Aegis Media’s commitment to making each media decision work harder alongside the rest of the planned approach.
