History of Firsts

Aegis has a long and distinguished history of firsts.  The first world’s first independent media agency, with the founding of Carat in 1968.  The first global digital marketing network, and the largest and best.  The first and only research group to operate without national boundaries, and under a single worldwide brand.

We’ve been first-to-market with leading edge-tools and techniques: from Carat’s 3C’s communications planning framework; or Vizeum’s Motivations to Market; to Isobar’s Creating Time® and Synovate’s proprietary modeling and analytics tools. 

Our firsts have also put our clients ahead of the times, and have helped our business to outgrow the competition, year after year.  Some of our recent firsts for clients include adidas and Reebok’s virtual shoe-store launches on Second Life as well as AgenciaClick’s interactive mobile movie for Fiat in Brazil.

 We are committed to remaining ahead of the competition.  To do that we are investing in our business, both organically and through acquisitions, to deliver future ‘firsts’ that are as bold as our past ones.
